Longevity

An individual’s Longevity VoloScore is a measure related to living a longer and healthier life. The Longevity VoloScore is calculated based on how the individual’s biomarkers compare to the biomarkers of individuals of the same age and sex in the UK Biobank who passed within a 15-year timeframe. The healthier the biomarkers, the better the VoloScore. A score of 200 represents an individual’s longevity score is average compared to similar individuals in the UK Biobank. Each biomarker factors into an individual’s score differently than it may for other people. Certain biomarkers are more important for some individuals than others, based on individualized data (e.g. age, sex, and scores related to other biomarkers). The VH report shows which biomarkers have the greatest impact (or strength) on an individual’s Longevity VoloScore. Taking steps to improve biomarkers related to a VoloScore may help reduce the risk of, or impact of, chronic conditions related to longevity. Recipients of VH reports should talk to their healthcare professional about steps to improve biomarkers for a better Longevity VoloScore. The Voloridge Biomarker Reference Guide shows biomarkers with the greatest impact (or Strength), the related VMR and the related Health Multiplier in the Longevity domain.

Below are values for our model’s strongest biomarkers for Longevity in males and females aged 55 to 70.
